Our planned events for 2020, 2021 and 2022 were all postponed for various reasons including Covid-19. However, we are planning on holding this event on June 9th, 2023.
We are hoping to experience (our usual) very little rain that day. Ordinarily our open House is from 10:00-4:00 with the grills going from 11:00-2:00 pm only. There are usually door prizes and other giveaways!
Before the Bratwurst Broil, White Mountain Oil hosted many other events. Below, members of the community are shown enjoying an early open-house at our Main Street-North Conway showroom, which included a cake baking contest.
Sunday, May 28th, 2023, our quintessential, New England village, and a highly visited resort destination plays host to the 33rd annual Wildquack Duck Race & Music Festival!
Continuing with tradition – admission to the event remains FREE!
This is an entire community family fun-filled day in the park with so much to do throughout the day
- music from local favorites Al Shafner/Dennis & Davey
- fair foods including BBQ, kettle corn, ice cream, lobster sandwiches … affordably priced
- silent auction … bid aften!
- kids’ games
- and so much more!
The day’s events start at 8 AM and the first Duck Race goes off at 1:45 PM.

BROWNFIELD, ME – Singer, songwriter, author, activist, folk legend Known as much for her staunch progressive ideals as her raw acoustic energy, for decades Dar Williams has been captivating audiences with her sheer elegance and honesty in her folk-pop songwriting.
Critics say,“Dar Williams, one of America’s very best singer-songwriters… Her songs are beautiful. Some are like finely crafted short stories. They are, variously, devastatingly moving, tenderly funny, subtle without being in any way inaccessible, and utterly fresh—not a cliche or a clunker in her entire songbook. –The New Yorker
“Seasons change, but Williams remains both ambitious and pleasingly plain-spoken… And importantly, she seems more at ease than ever. — Rolling Stone
