Festival of Trees

NORTH CONWAY NH – Carroll County RSVP looks forward to welcoming you to this exciting annual holiday event. Over 100 beautiful and creative trees, both large and small will be raffled, a silent auction, entertainment and light hors d’oeuvres, and of course a visit and photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause will help kick off your holiday season. If you’re lucky, you might take home one of our trees for Christmas.

Settlers Green Outlet Village, 2 Common Court, North Conway is our major sponsor of the event and graciously provides the venue which is transformed into a vibrant and magical wonderland of Christmas elegance. This unique experience occurs the Friday following the Thanksgiving Holiday and lasts for two consecutive weekends. Drawing of the trees will take place Sunday, December 3rd.

NORTH CONWAY NH – Bring A Friend sales run November 3-12, 2023. Mount Washington Observatory

JACKSON NH – Why is Mt. Washington called the “Home of the World’s Worst Weather”? This program will explore the unique life and work of the weather observers stationed on Mt. Washington and learn why, for a mountain its size, Mt. Washington hosts some of the worst weather on Earth.

This program is hosted by OLLI of UNH (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) – Mount Washington Valley Learning Region and presented by the Mount Washington Observatory Staff.

DENMARK ME – Eclectic, immersive, and mesmerizing, guitarist and composer Hiroya Tsukamoto embodies the notion that music has no language. Beautifully raw and cathartically emotional, guitarist Tsukamoto is a world-renowned, self-made musician.

Hiroya is a one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing the five-string banjo when he was thirteen, and took up the guitar shortly after.

The Cold River Radio Show

CONWAY NH – This Cold River Radio Show Headlines Old Eleven playing traditional and original bluegrass music featuring some of the state of Maine’s best and most venerable musicians. Comprised of veterans of the Portland bluegrass music scene, ( Lincoln Meyers, Keith Hillyard, Taylor Smith, Chris Dombrowski, and Ted DeMille) Old Eleven covers lots of ground from Bill Monroe to Billy Strings along with many contemporary original songs penned by guitarist Ted DeMille. Crisp instrumentals, heart-felt two- and three-part harmonies, and compelling arrangements characterize Old Eleven’s ensemble. It’s Maine Bluegrass worth listening to.

JACKSON NH – This premiere event is celebrating its 39th year. This event is a self-guided tour available to you throughout the day or evening hours at your leisure.

Our businesses hosting Pumpkin People work very hard at creating the displays for your enjoyment… this year we anticipate even more displays than usual with more than 50 displays. You see Pumpkin People doing just about anything and sometimes even the impossible. Please remember to vote for your favorite. There is a ballot on the back of every map. Maps are available at participating businesses and located in brochure racks throughout the area. Ballots can be dropped off at any of the participating businesses or at the Chamber offices. New Hampshire, and especially our area, offers some of the most beautiful and awe inspiring views and events… please remember we need your help to keep the incredibleness going. Remember to thank your front line employees and as things challenge us during times such as Covid days be mindful that the challenges fall upon us all. Working together to be able to offer events such as this is something we all need to strive for… levity and fun can wash away stress. We thank you for respecting our State’s recommendations and or mandates that may be in place at the time of this event and or any of our events.
