James Montgomery and Diane Blue with Chris Vitarello – July 20th
JACKSON NH – James Montgomery is an American blues musician, best known as the lead singer, blues harp player, frontman, and bandleader of The James Montgomery Blues Band. Montgomery collaborates with many star performers and recording artists. He is also the past President of The New England Blues Society.
Boston’s Diane Blue is a “multi-talented performer who’s equally at home belting out a blues standard or cutting loose with a ferocious harmonica solo.” (Bill Van Siclen, Providence Journal). Her performances are captivating, charismatic and heartfelt, whether fronting her own world-class band or singing alongside master Bluesman Ronnie Earl.
Chris Vitarello is a gifted guitarist and a blues hall of famer. Inducted on November 14th 2013. Nominee and performer at the 32nd Blues Music Awards.(Chris O’Leary Band best new artist) and a Blues Blast winner. Chris attended Berklee College of Music from 1991 to 1993. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music at Western Connecticut State University in 2001.
Joined on Bass by Al Hospers (Buddy Rich and Blood Sweat & Tears) and Pete Premo on Drums (Tornado Alley, The Blind Tiger Swing Posse, The Cliph Band, Affirmation, Blues Food, Chet Williamson, and Big Town Blues. He has also shared the stage with Luther “Guitar” Johnson, and The Fools.)
