As a gift to John for his 70th birthday on October 9, 2010, they have re-imagined exquisite acoustic renditions of Lennon’s legendary Beatles songs.
Besides a smattering of tasteful percussion and Rex and Tom’s distinctive acoustic guitar and vocal stylings, featured instrumentation include cello, violin, mandolin, mandola, bass, slide guitar, accordion and chromatic harmonica.
(hear a sampling of the new CD here)

Devonsquare will be taking the stage for a full show for the first time in 5 years. The loss of singer and original founding member Herb Ludwig was a big one. His clear bell of a voice was part of the exquisite three part harmony the group was known for. Tom Dean and Alana Macdonald with the help of Robbie Coffin (acoustic & electric guitars) Teg Glendon (bass guitar) and Rex Fowler (vocals) have decided to once again perform the songs so many people have asked to hear.

Tickets are now on sale at Stone Mountain Arts.
