NORTH CONWAY NH – The Mount Washington Valley Nordic Club, in conjunction with the Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring Association and the Conway Park and Recreational Department, will again be offering free cross country skiing at Whitaker Woods on Friday evenings, conditions permitting from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Fridays in January and February, through Feb. 22. All ages and levels of ability are welcome. Bring a snack to share and a head lamp, as the flood lights are not planned to be on.
